Tutting is another popular style associated with popping.
Below is a short tutting combination, once you know the different hand positions you can experiement and combine them in any way you want - the possibilites are endless.
1. Bring both arms out to the side so the arms are horizontal. The palms are flat facing the floor.
2. Bend both elbows so the forearms come up vertically while the hands are flexed outwards.
3. The arms come out again to horizontal as in step 1.
4. Bend both elbows so both forearms go down vertically while keeping the hands flexed.
5. Now bring both hands together so the bases of the palms are touching. Spin the hands round in opposite directions and then after spinning flex both hands downwards (keeping the palms in contact with one another).
6. Unravel the hands towards you and continue until the hands are flexed up (like in a praying position).
7. Keep the right hand flexed up but flex the left hand down and slide it across the right arm all the way to the elbow.
8. Now slide the flexed left hand back the way it came (to the left) until the hands are touching. So the finishing position is with the left hand flexed down and right hand flexed up.
Anytime you flex the hands try and flex them as much as you can to keep the lines vertical or horizontal (depending on the position).
